It's not the telephone that matters.
It's the service.

At Leeds Building Society, our Telephone Business Development Managers (TBDMs) go above and beyond to support our intermediary offering. With a combination of industry experience and qualified expertise, our TBDMs have an unrivalled understanding of our business, our products, and most importantly, how to help brokers.

It’s not a call centre. You won’t be waiting hours on the end of the line. Our TBDMs aren’t here to achieve call quotas, to pass you from pillar to post, or to bombard you with unrequested information. They’re here to make your life easier, to talk to you if our BDMs are unavailable, and to help you find the best possible solutions for you and your customers.

Our experienced TBDMs are simply here to provide expert guidance when you need it, helping you to service the needs of your customers.

Favourite thing about being a TBDM:

My favourite thing about being a TBDM, is that I get to speak to loads of different people from all over the country on a daily basis. There are so many different queries that come in to me that I am kept on my toes and really have to get my brain working, I suppose the best thing is when a broker comes to you saying they have a difficult case that they can't place anywhere and we manage to help them.

I love the diversity of queries I hear the team discussing day in day out and watching the team work collaboratively to provide solutions for brokers - When we have to say no to a case, I love hearing the team explain the rationale behind decisions and suggesting alternative lenders to the broker , we aim to add value where we can - even if that means pointing the broker elsewhere.
