Nottingham branch of Leeds Building Society raises £40 on Red Nose Day

Staff at the Nottingham branch of Leeds Building Society raised £40 on Red Nose Day 2013 to raise funds for Comic Relief. The team in the branch, at 23 Listergate, raised these funds by wearing animal themed onesies, holding a homemade bake sale of cakes and cookies and by asking their customers to name the teddy bear to win as a prize.

In additions to these fundraising efforts from staff in Nottingham, the branch also accepted donations from members of the public on Red Nose Day.

Charlotte Rafferty, Leeds Building Society’s Nottingham branch manager said, “It was great to get involved on Friday and ‘do something funny for money’ to raise funds for a great cause.

“Customers can continue to make donations towards Comic Relief in the branch, at 23 Listergate, Nottingham, NG1 7DE, until the end of March. I can be contacted on 0115 947 2841 for more information.”
