Leeds Building Society holds Easter themed charity day
Leeds Building Society is holding a special Easter charity event at its Head Office tomorrow, Thursday 17th April, to raise funds for St Gemma’s Hospice, Martin House Children’s Hospice, Tiny Lives Special Care Baby Unit and Hollybank Trust.
Colleagues at Head Office, at 105 Albion Street in Leeds, will make a donation to dress down for the day and there will also be a collection for loose change. Easter bunny’s helpers will also be touring Head Office with collection buckets.
Colleagues will be challenged to take part in the Society’s ‘Great Easter Bake Off’, and name the bunny and guess how many eggs in the jar competitions.
There will also be a contest for colleagues to decorate their egg to resemble a famous person or character.
Senior managers will be braving ‘Egg Russian Roulette’ and Society eggheads will be tackling an ‘Engineering Challenge’.
There will also be a raffle and tombola taking place at Leeds Building Society’s Head Office tomorrow.
The mutual will be running a series of events throughout 2014 to raise funds for St Gemma’s Hospice, Martin House Children’s Hospice, Tiny Lives Special Care Baby Unit and Hollybank Trust, to build on the Society’s fundraising success over recent years.
