Southampton branch manager Alison scoops prestigious national award
Alison Cottle has been named winner of the ‘Living our Values’ category at Leeds Building Society’s Excellence in Action annual awards ceremony.
Alison’s drive and determination has made a big impression on Southampton branch and contribution to the South West area. She has collaborated with other branches in the region by leading their recruitment and training process. Alison has also been enthusiastic about driving the community involvement of her branch.
Alison was nominated for this award by Deborah Dawson, Mortgage Consultant in Southampton, who said: “Alison has been a mentor for all the Customer Service Advisers in the South West region, running weekly conference calls throughout the year to help them get to know each other.
“She also undertakes the recruitment for the South West, which takes a lot of time and effort, and ensures the right candidates are selected. Alison undertakes everything with passion and absolutely lives and breathes the Society’s values at all times.
“She takes part in a lot of community work in her own time and supports other teams when they are undertaking their own events to offer encouragement and support.”
Commenting on her award, Alison said: “I was completely overwhelmed to be awarded this. I am really happy with the progress we are making at Southampton and it is so nice to be recognised for this.”
