Leeds Building Society unveils its branch of the year
Head Office branch in Leeds city centre has scooped the branch of the year award at Leeds Building Society.
The prize is awarded to the branch which has consistently excelled throughout the year and performed at the highest level in the Society’s branch network.
The criteria for this award, which is open to any of the mutual’s branches, sees teams judged on a broad range of measures but mainly customer service to the Society’s members.
Graham Binns, Head of Branch Network at Leeds Building Society, said: “Head Office Branch experienced a fantastic year in 2016. The team has changed dramatically over the year with a number of new colleagues joining, some colleagues stepping up to positions of more responsibility and others increasing their skill set by becoming accredited to offer more products and services.
“Throughout all of this, the team has been led superbly by branch manager Michelle Capell. She is completely committed to delivering the highest levels of service, to both her internal and external customers, as well as seeing the development of her people as of paramount importance. When all of this comes together, we see an amazing performance.”
Michelle Capell said: “The branch is a great place to be right now. The team have embraced the benefits of the new look since the refurbishment and it makes for a better experience for our customers.
“We look forward to helping more members to save and have the homes they want in 2017.”
