John O’Hanlon has joined Leeds Building Society as the new manager of its Reading branch.
During a financial services career which began in 1992, John has been a regional manager for Principality Building Society, Santander and Barclays.
His professional training in financial services includes coaching, project management, leadership and customer services.
John continues to volunteer in the mental health sector, following his most recent role of 18 months as a mental health support worker.
“I want to deliver the best service in the marketplace to our customers in Reading,” he said.
“There are many local businesses and organisations that I’m looking forward to working with to build Leeds Building Society’s profile in the local area.
“Our purpose is to help people save and have the home they want, and it’s hugely reassuring to our members and colleagues that we retain our mutual status for the benefit of all of us.”
