Puppy love in Peterborough

We invited the people of Peterborough to join us for a Guide Dogs Fun Day in our branch, at 2 Queen Street, in order to raise funds for the Guide Dogs charity.

There was live guide dog training in branch and small puppies undertaking their social training. Any new accounts opened on the day resulted in £5 going to Guide Dogs. There was also a cake sale, giveaways for customers such as pens and bookmarks and a guide dogs mobile van was parked outside the branch all day.

Kayleigh Boyce, Leeds Building Society Peterborough Branch Customer Service Advisor (pictured) said, “Excitement had been building in the branch for many weeks in the build up to the Guide Dogs Fun Day. Guide Dogs are a really deserving charity, providing 240 guide dogs to the blind and partially sighted in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.”
