Doncaster branch donates a feast

Our Doncaster branch has been helping their local Food Bank 'Trussell Trust,' by collecting food items from the public. This is to help people in poverty, requiring emergency food supplies in Doncaster.

Melissa Foulis, Doncaster branch manager at Leeds Building Society said, "The food bank has been set up for people and families in crisis, for the homeless, and people that might be waiting for benefit claims to be processed but need food and drink in the meantime. This generosity will go a long way with many families depending on food banks like this one just to get by. Our customers have responded very well to this great cause and we have collected 72 much needed items to donate to the food bank."
