Over £3000 raised in great Yorkshire Bike Ride!

Leeds Building Society would like to say a big thank you its team who cycled 73 miles from Wetherby to Filey, and to everyone who sponsored the team.

They have raised £3200 so far for Hollybank Trust, at Mirfield. The ride was promoted as a gentle flat ride over the East Yorkshire Wolds. It was far from flat as, just like the Tour de France Cyclists, team Leeds Building Society faced a 17% hill called Terrington Bank and Setterington Bank at 18%!

The yellow shirt was won by Paul Smith who completed the ride by lunch time and was cycling his way back, as the rest of the team hit Malton…

Back row, standing, are (from left to right) Oliver Stowe, Jeanette Cartwright, Kevin Mowles, James Boldy, Paul Inman, Tom Tinkler and Robin Litten.
Front row, kneeling, are Paul Smith and Gary Mitchell.
