Leeds Building Society appoints new General Manager - Operations
Leeds Building Society has appointed Tom Tinkler as General Manager - Operations. In his new role Tom will have responsibility for the Mortgage Lending, Customer Services and Collections departments of the UK’s 5th largest building society.
Tom brings extensive experience of leading strategic change and operations within financial services. He spent the last 10 years with the insurance broker Aon UK and, prior to that, had 8 years leading servicing and operations within First Direct.
Tom lives in Knottingley in West Yorkshire and is married with two children. He is a motorcycle and classic car enthusiast, enjoys building renovation and owns a small holding.
Commenting on his appointment as General Manager - Operations Tom said, “I will use my previous experience to bring a new perspective to work with my teams to drive continued operational excellence, and improved and sustained customer service. It’s an exciting time to be joining a very successful and customer focused organisation.”
