Leeds Building Society appoints new manager in Reading
Paul Hunt has joined Leeds Building Society as the new manager of its Reading branch.
During a financial services career spanning 25 years, Paul was a district manager with Nationwide Building Society and also worked for Alliance & Leicester and Lloyds Banking Group.
Paul holds a financial planning certificate and is a qualified mortgage advisor. He is now looking to develop himself further through the extensive training and development programme offered by Leeds Building Society.
Outside of work Paul is a keen runner and has completed a couple of marathons, as well as numerous half marathons and 10k races. In 2010 he led a team of cyclists on a 312 mile ride, which raised over £100,000 for Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Commenting on his appointment as Leeds Building Society’s Reading branch manager, Paul said: “I want to deliver the best service in the marketplace to our customers in Reading. There are many local businesses and organisations that I’m looking forward to working with, to build Leeds Building Society’s profile in the local area.
“I have a wealth of experience in the financial services industry, and was heavily involved with citizenship and corporate responsibility at Nationwide Building Society. I’m hoping to build on and increase the involvement of my new branch team in community initiatives in the Reading area.”
