Cameron named Society’s Advisor of the Year

Cameron Bland, Assistant Branch Manager at Leeds Building Society’s Adel branch, is celebrating after being named the Society’s Advisor of the Year for 2018.

The awards recognise colleagues working in the branch network and direct mortgage team, who delivered outstanding customer service during the year.

Cameron’s award win was based on his positive ‘can-do’ attitude and exceptional service to members.

Graham Binns, Head of Leeds Building Society’s Branch Network, said: “Cameron lives the values of the Society and consistently comes to work with the right attitude, doing everything he can to support members and deliver fantastic customer service.

“He is completely reliable, willing to step in to help colleagues and inspires others to follow his example. I’m so pleased his dedication has been recognised with the 2018 award.”

Speaking about his award, Cameron said: “It was amazing to be named Advisor of the Year and it’s great to know that no matter where you are, if you’re putting in the effort, people do take notice.

“I enjoy working with my team at the Adel branch and I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this award without their relentless help and support throughout the year.”
