18/02/2014 – New Studio Apartment Criteria Announced
With effect from Tuesday 18th February, the Society has relaxed it's criteria for Studio Apartments, removing the minimum 60 sqm requirement. The new criteria for studio apartments are as follows:

Following on from the success of the introduction of the Minimum Submission Requirement forms, I am pleased to advise that the forms have been updated to ensure our need to request further supporting documents at full case assessment remains low.
We continue to require a fully completed submission form for all applications as part of our minimum submission requirements.

01/11/2013 – Important - For All New Applications
Following the changes made to the Society’s submission requirements on 17 August 2013 we are pleased to advise that our need to request further supporting documentation or additional clarification following full case assessment has reduced on average by 44%.
Furthermore, our case turnaround time from full case assessment to offer based on cases processed to offer under the new process to date has reduced on average to 10 days.
From 1st November 2013 the Society will ensure that a fully completed Submission form is received for all applications as part of our minimum submission requirements.

05/09/2013 – Important Information – Minimum Required Documentation
We recently made a change to our submission process and introduced a new form to be submitted with applications received from 17 August. The form acts as a checklist for you to ensure we have all the information required to process the application.
On the cases we have received so far where this form has been fully completed we have been able to move these through our process much quicker and the underwriter can more easily assess the case, with the ultimate aim of issuing a Mortgage Offer as soon as possible.
However, at the moment the form is only being received in around 40% of new cases and therefore we have not been able to fully deliver these advantages in processing for you. Therefore, with immediate effect, this form will become mandatory for all new mortgage applications.
Please ensure the form is fully completed and submitted with the supporting documentation required for each new application submitted.

12/08/2013 – Help to Buy – Adding Fees to the Loan
Please note that the completion fee can be added to the loan, however the total value of the loan plus fees cannot exceed 75% LTV. Any fees that would result in the LTV exceeding 75% must be paid at completion.
29/07/2013 – Submission of Buy-to-Let and Holiday Let Applications
When submitting applications for both buy-to-let and holiday let mortgages, please can you ensure that you input the number of people over the age of 17 and the number under the age of 17 that are to live in the property as "0". If these sections of the application are left blank, then the system will not allow you to fully submit the application.

please do not proceed to submit application as any amendments requested cannot be made to the application. Please wait until you receive the response to the DIP before progressing.
08/02/2013 - Avoid delays with Secure Email
To ensure your secure email documents are attached directly to your clients file you must quote the application number in the subject heading of the email. Failure to do this will mean your email will be automatically rejected and you will have to resend the documents. The email address to use in secure email is firstname.lastname@example.org

To assist in the packaging of applications the Society has devised a new form for Gifted Deposit applications, this can be found on the website under printable forms. This form will speed up the Mortgage Application process and help stop delays.
