Accidental damage
Accidental damage cover protects against sudden, unintentional and unexpected incidents, like smashing a window with a football or hammering a nail into a pipe.
Personal possessions
Items you take outside your home worth less than £2,500 individually aren’t covered automatically for loss, theft or damage by contents insurance. If you want to insure these items, like jewellery or mobile phones, you’ll need to add personal belongings cover. There’s a limit per item of £2,500 and there are also individual limits for mobile phones (£500), personal money (£750) and credit cards (£1,000). Items with a value above these limits need to be specified individually to be covered on the policy.
Home Emergency Protection
Home Emergency Protection provides immediate help from professional tradesmen to deal with a range of emergency incidents around the home. This includes boiler breakdown, electrical failures or lost keys. The policy provides cover up to £1,500 (including VAT) per claim with no annual maximum limit on claims.
Family Legal Cover
Family Legal Protection policy provides £150,000 of legal cover and helps customers through difficult and stressful legal situations such as employment disputes, personal injury claims or property infringement cases.
