Leeds Building Society launches Intermediary research panel

Leeds Building Society has launched a new research panel, Intermediary TalkingPoint, a first for the intermediary mortgage industry.

The platform will offer intermediaries the opportunity to provide insight on new products and services to help further improve their overall experience.

The launch follows the success of Leeds Building Society’s consumer panel, which has already enabled members to input their ideas. More than 200 intermediaries have signed up to the panel already and have begun providing valuable feedback on their experience.

Martese Carton, Head of Intermediary Distribution, said: “A significant proportion of our mortgage business is arranged through intermediaries and we highly value both the relationships we have with our partners and their opinions on our products and services.

“The launch of Intermediary TalkingPoint will enable intermediaries to share their views with us on various aspects of the mortgage market, processes and their overall experience.

“We’re pleased that so many have already signed up and we’re looking forward to welcoming more members to the panel who will help us to shape our proposition going forward.”

The launch of the Intermediary TalkingPoint panel is the latest measure introduced to improve the way brokers can communicate with Leeds Building Society, following the recent launch of a webchat function via the dedicated intermediary website.

Intermediaries can sign up to the research panel here.

Leeds Building Society operates throughout the UK and in Gibraltar and has assets of £19.4bn at 31 December 2018 (£18.5bn at 31 December 2017). The Society’s head office has been based in the centre of Leeds since 1886.
