Two new improvements to Mortgage Hub
We’re committed to making changes to our technology to make submitting business easier for brokers.
Following three key improvements to our Mortgage Hub platform earlier this year, we’ve now made further upgrades to help you update previously submitted applications and send us new build cases hassle-free.
You’ll now be able to:
- Easily amend or update a submitted application – we’ve streamlined the process for making changes to previously submitted Decision in Principles (DIPs) and full applications, minimising potential further delays to your client.
- Submit new build business quicker – Disclosure of Incentive (DIF) forms will no longer be added as a case requirement for new build applications where the surveyor has confirmed there has been no incentive, or if the incentive is less than 5% of the purchase price. This will simplify and speed up the application process for many new build applications, saving you valuable time.
“Saving time and making it easier for intermediaries to submit business is our priority and these improvements will certainly help with that goal,” said Martese Carton, Director of Mortgage Distribution at Leeds Building Society.
“Making changes to applications that have already been submitted is often unavoidable - and along with a simplified applications process and reduced case requirements for new build will make the whole process more straightforward.”
“We’ll continue with our programme of systems improvements and remain committed to helping more borrowers into their homes sooner.”
These changes build on the back of other updates to Mortgage Hub, which include removing physical signatures and the automatic instruction of valuations as soon as a case is opened.
