Forgotten username
If you’ve forgotten your username or it isn’t recognised when you log in, follow these steps:
- Go to the login page
- At the bottom of the page select ‘I’ve forgotten my username’.
- To make sure it’s you, we’ll ask for your name, postcode, date of birth and account number.
- Once you've given us your details, check your email - this is where we’ll send your username.
Don't have a username?
If you don't have a username, you’ll need to register online with us.
Reset password
If you’ve forgotten your password or would like to reset it, follow these simple steps:
- Go to the login page
- Enter your username. If you can't remember your username, read the 'I've forgotten my username' section above. If you use a customer number to log in, you’ll need to contact us to reset your password.
- On the password screen, select ‘I’ve forgotten my password’.
- Answer your memorable questions.
- Check your email – we’ll send you a link to reset your password.
We’ll post a welcome letter to you, which includes your 6-digit activation PIN, within 10 days of your account opening. Once you have it, enter your PIN after you’ve logged in to use all of the options on your online account. This PIN is valid for 30 days.
Accessing your account online can save you time and put you in control of when you get this information. In most cases, once you've logged in, you can:
- Check your balance
- Change personal details, such as your mobile number, home address and email address
- Request withdrawals and transactions
- Reset your password
- Request reminder of username
- Change your memorable questions
How do I change my password?
- Log in
- Head to ‘personal details’
- Select ‘change password’
- Enter your old password and your new password
- Select ‘submit’
- You’ll get an email confirming your password has been changed

- Log in
- Head to ‘personal details’
- Select ‘change memorable questions’
- Enter your new answers
- Select ‘submit’
- You’ll get an email confirming your memorable questions have been changed
To send a secure message, you’ll need to follow these simple steps.
- Log into the account
- Go to ‘Send a secure message’
- Choose from the list of secure messages.
You can send us a secure message to:
- Add a nominated account
- Remove a nominated account
- Make a withdrawal or close your account
- Change your address
- Amend an interest instruction
- Make a complaint
- Make a general enquiry
